1st Day of School 2103

Darci Mae!  First day of Second Grade.... Mrs. Browne's class.

CL's first day of 6th Grade - Officially Junior High

Bryton - 9th grade, High School here we come!

Ethan spent the first day of school learning how to start on his bicycle on his own.   He has been riding all summer without training wheels , but had to have help starting off.  He is going to keep me busy........  Riding his big boy bike and not even 4 yet!  YIKES

Last Camping trip of the season!

The first weekend of August we headed out with the camper for one LAST camping trip/family reunion!

Our spot for the next 3 nights would be Sawtelle Resort in Island Park where we would first spend

time with the Reynolds relatives!  I must say that camping with a swimming pool is the way to go!

 Ethan got a little TOO brave about swimming.  Who needs anyone to catch you?  Not him!

 Quick Relocation of the camper gave the kids a "ride".

 AfTer the reunion, we spend some "Family" time and went to Yellowstone!

 Just a little bit windy.  :D

Adventures of Willow Flats - Spencer Reunion 2013

Ethan had a little handheld racing game, that somehow became his GPS.  :)  So funny when he would ask where is my GPS.

WhAcK a MouSe??  Yep!  Kline was setting up his tent and thought his air mattress was making funny noises...... Only to kneel on something wiggly and squishy.  After inspecting he found a nest of mice between the tarp and his tent.  He cleaned up the mice that met their demise, and resumed getting ready for bed.    Lying in bed the scurrying and scratching resumed...... The momma mouse came looking for the babies.  Much to Nancy's alarm Kline picked up a shoe and started aiming at the noise.   According to Nancy it was a bit disturbing for quite some time.  LOL  Enough that Kline sat up in bed and just played wack a mouse for awhile!

Retrieving Michael from the bushes...... He built up some good speed!

Darci decided that she needed a ground squirrel trap, so a little bat of the eyes,
and Joe was on that task.  Of course as usual he had all the kids clearly entertained.

Well, it wouldn't be a reunion if Mom and Dad didn't have an adventure.

The leaf springs broke, so Carson and Mitch helped rig some blocks and

the camper made it all the way home! :D
