Busy Saturday

Carson was busy building workbenches for his garage while I painted the garage trim and kept track of the kids. It was a good day. C.L. practiced riding his bike without training wheels, Bryton helped her Dad and helped me keep track of Darci. Darci flew from one activity to the next. A little BBQ peek-a-Boo! Playing house, and busy, busy, busy. Later that night I returned to the Rec Hall to paint a little more.

Big Girl Bed

Darci moved into her "Big Girl Bed" on last Friday, May 9, 2008. I finally got tired of her climbing in and out of the crib. She has been escaping from the crib for months. Now at least I can tell he to go get back in bed and I don't have to follow her. She is actually doing better about staying in bed with the real bed than she did with the crib.

Volunteer

I recently had the desire to make a difference in our community and became a volunteer on the Parks & Recreation Comittee. Right now I have found myself as the "Project Manager" for a renew the Community Rec Hall. It has been quite a project which we have spent 5 evenings of 4 to 5 hours so far painting and cleaning. I have been accused of liking the paint fumes a little too much. Here are some pictures to show a little of what we are doing, getting rid of the dark reddish brown paint and brightening up the place. I have really enjoyed this project even though it has made my life a little more chaotic. Of course I keep reminding myself that I don't have a right to complain unless I make the effort to change what I don't like. I hope to improve things so that my kids can have pride in our facilities, no matter what the age..............

Winner!!!!!

C.L. won a drawing at the credit union for $100. He made deposits during the Youth Week and was put in the drawing between all the east idaho branches. He was really excited, and thinks he's buying a Nintendo Wii. I think we need to win some more money!
