Bits of January............

Darci.............too cute for words! Of course the cute sweater from Aunt Rachel helps!
The Bogart Rock Band Superstars perfomr often..... Weekly showings guaranteed entertainment.

Celebrating "3"! Darci and the rest of the kids were invited to celebrate age 3 Batman style. Sledding, Hot chocolate, and great company. The challenge now goes to Barb to post the birthday cake, because I failed to get many pictures. It couldn't be because I was trying to keep Darci from taking over the birthday..............I do believe she unwrapped at least 2 presents! UGH! Hope it was a great day for you Boston! We look forward to celebrating many more!

Taking time to appreciate messes...............

After a long reflective, emotional week I finally gave in and let the kids get out the paints for a project that they have been begging to do.

C.L. did really well dealing with the death of his dear friend/classmate Jaxon Angell. He drowned on Monday and it has been a week full of questions and appreciation for the blessings that I have and the small challenges that I have faced in my life. My heart just aches for his family, especially his parents.........

Some days I forget how much fun the kids can be. Darci being the determined 2 year old with way too much energy, C.L. and his newfound Nintendo DS obsession, and Bryton and her pure enjoyment in the simple things of life. I guess sometimes I need a reminder of how much I love all the little things

Family fun in the snow!

Here are a couple of shots from the couple sledding adventures we had with all the visiting cousins over the Christmas/New Years holiday! We had a great time with all. I know that each of you have some great pictures too! Do share! Thanks so much for the fun!

Ringing in the New Year!

We had a great new years celebration with some great friends. All of the kids did make it through the new years, but we just didn't know when to quit.

I do believe that these pictures were taken around 2 a.m. I went and picked up the kids about 1:30 from grandma and grandpa's where they celebrated the new year with their cousins.

Good times were had by all! Thanks so much Barb & Trevor for allowing us to trash your house and keep you up half the night!
