What do u do????

Ok,  so the joke since Bryton got her prom dress was that you could get lost in the fluff.....  We had Stake Conference today and Ethan decided he needed to get lost!!!!   I don't make it a habit to take pictures in church,  but it did make me laugh... Also I didn't get very many pictures of Bryton,  so it was a chance for a couple more... 

The rest of the afternoon we pretty much spent "quality time"   with the sleeping Beauty..... I am pretty sure that it is a sign of a good time.....

Spirit Week - Duct Tape Day

I am always up for a creative challenge.

6th grade brought Bryton an opportunity to be a part of Spirit Week this week for the

1st time. She was having fun with it and wanted to really do it up for Duct tape day!

She is a girl all about accessories, so we put the imagination to work!

Duct tape flowers, Earrings with duct tape, bracelet and all.
Her flower turned out really giant and cute!

I I hurried to snap a picture before the bus came at 7:25.....

She isn't exactly my morning kid!

All taped up and ready to go!!!

Oh how Great Grandpa Spencer would be proud! He used

duct tape for EVERYTHING! As I was helping Bryton with her ensemble

I just had to smile as I thought about his crochet slippers with the duct tape sole.

Of course who knew duct tape could patch a trike wheel, or fix a broken chair, and even

patch the occasional hole in your pants! Oh how I love the memories I have of that great man!

Now I create duct tape memories with my daughter!

1st Day of School 2010

Oh how quickly they grow up.............

Bryton's 1st day of 6th Grade & C.L.'s first day of 3rd grade.
Ethan was NOT happy to see his big sissy leave.

YEP! The days of taking my kid in to get settled are over!

Of course I was able to cheat a little and went in with Grandma

earlier in the week to put up stuff in her locker and make sure

she could open her combination!

Atomic Days 2010

Atomic Days brings new celebrations each year. This year Mitch and Rachel both brought their families home. Mitch was celebrating his 20 year class reunion and of course the kids all had a great time together with the cousins.

At the Moore Community Association Car and Tractor show we had a very talented local artist carve a cowboy that he donated to the association for us to sell or raffle. The association decided to raffle "Cowboy Chris". The big drawing was to be held at the Saturday night Atomic Days Rodeo. We felt that Chris should be in the parade, and so we gathered our "Floozies" and displayed "Chris" with pride.

"Cowboy Chris" was on displayand completed at Mom and Dad's house for the month prior to Atomic Days. He became a part of the family quickly! The kids were all sad to see him go. Many of the kids (along with all of us adults) tried for their chance to win this great piece of art and give him a home in Moore. He was however happily greeted by his new family in Pocatello.

Bryton, Haylee, Ciera, Addie and Madyson had so much fun dressing up

and flirting with the big sexy cowboy.
C.L. helped Spencer promote the Number Hill Grill float!

Darci, Lilly, and Makenna sported the clowning around and rode in the

Moore Community Association train.

Bryton & Madyson's Hot Air Balloon

Bryton and Madyson had an assignment for 5th grade science that they had to make a Hot Air Balloon out of Tissue Paper. It was really fun to watch and they did a really good job. Oh and it was hat day, so Bryton went to Grandma Pearson's to find the biggest/most bizarre hat!
